Thank you for the recommendation. I am currently reading the book and gave a second book as a gift to a friend. We are both enjoying it even though we practice our religion differently. I think this book is enjoyable regardless of where you are on your spiritual journey and more importantly how you choose to make that journey.

I told someone that unlike 9/11 I immediately burst into sobs and tears. I was in my car (in the usa) and heard the news on the BBC channel. I only received a scathing, " really? You didn't care about 9/11?" Of course, and I shed tears then too, but this has grabbed my heart so much harder.

You have said so well what I was trying to say too. I have 2 sons (9 & 5) and this has entered a portion of raw nerve that I can't protect. I, too, cannot stop thinking about the horror. True, we are mostly good and probably kind, but in that single point of darkness, grief sprang up to consume us. My heart is so broken for those parents, the families and friends, the community...well said.

Tam and I use a lot of green cleaners, but we have allergies to fragrances and skin that will dry up and flake off at the mere sight of a bottle of Dawn. Sal Soap and baking soda are what have worked best so far.

But... If we could tolerate all those wonderful cleaners, believe me, we probably would go back. I miss them. The drains around here clog faster with the green cleaners!

I did discover that a weekly dose of a couple gallons of boiling water down each drain helps to soften the grease that likes to linger.

I haven't been visiting blogs for quite a while, but I came to yours on a whim today. How wonderful that you treated you all so well! My grandson has autism and is, at 7 (almost 8) still fairly low functioning. I can't imagine taking him somewhere where he had to wait in 50 minutes lines for a 60 second ride. I used to live in Central FL. We went often to Disney and/or Epcot. Going to the front of the line? BLISS!
