Blanche is my Muse. You can read more about her here and here. I used to think that she was simply a muse of literature, but have recently amended this opinion. I now believe that Blanche is the Muse that drives all of my creativity, which makes her even more crazy than I previously thought.
I have decided that 2011 is the year that I sit Blanche down and have a good talk with her about my goals as a creative person. Chiefly, I want to finish editing my first novel and get the screenplay that I (or Blanche...take your pick) came up with over Christmas down on paper. Yes, I have set a time frame in which I hope to complete these projects. It is a very small frame and the thought of squinching all of those words inside that miniscule time frame makes me want to urp.
After those projects are finished, I'd like to finish up a novel, write ANOTHER screenplay, complete a cross-stitch project I began BEFORE I GOT MARRIED (which was thirteen years ago, hence all the caps, yo), and build a gigantic desk/office storage unit extravaganza in the office. And maybe dye my hair, although I'm not sure Blanche is responsible for that.
But I will totally blame it on her if the hair (or the desk/office storage unit extravaganza) looks like crap.
